What Clinical Studies Suggest

Human trials examining zinc specifically for erectile dysfunction remain limited, but several are informative. Restraint matters. Chronic intake above roughly 40 mg per day can interfere with copper absorption, potentially causing copper deficiency, anemia, and neurological problems, and very high doses may paradoxically suppress immune function. Zinc can also reduce the absorption of certain antibiotics and other medications.
